Wine party/Fundraiser

I was honored to photograph a wine party/Fundraiser! Justin and his four roommates attend the U of M, they are known around campus as throwing great parties, especially a wine party. Everyone kept asking when they would throw another one, so they decided to but this time wanted to do it for a good cause. With winter coming up they decided the best thing to do was raise money to be able to donate coats, hats, and mitten's to five girls and five boys, staying at the Harriet Tubman Center. They were able to raise enough to buy coats for 10 kids! I am so proud of these young men, for doing something so unselfish and out of the kindness of their hearts. Having a wine party/fundraiser is such a simple thing to do help people out in need, I am going to strive to be more like them! Thank you to those of you that donated, you have helped someone stay warm this winter! Here are some of the pictures from the party, enjoy!

Crystal and Brayden-Mother/Child photo session

I had such a great time Photographing Crystal and 8 month old Brayden one Sunny Sunday afternoon.  He had such funny facial expressions!  He was a little scared of the camera at first but he eventually warmed up and got used to me.  He is just so darn cute!  And Crystal is such a sweet person.  I have really enjoyed getting to know her, the few times we have hung out. Enjoy the pictues of this little guy, he is sure to put a smile on your face!

Dinner Party at the Broders!

Justin is really good friends with the Broders, they own Broders Italian Restaurant on 50th and Penn.  They have amazing food, I usually go once a week or once every two weeks!  I love their Pasta and Pizza.  We were fortunate to have dinner at their house one evening this summer.  I was so inspired by there beautiful dish wear and the food on the plates, I could not resist in taking a few photos of our dinner party.  Make sure you visit their restaurant!http://broders.com

Noelle and Brady, Breezy Point Wedding

My really good friend Emily has her own Photography Business, At Last Images.  So when she asked me to help assist her for a wedding she had, I was so excited!  I love working with Emily and I love her photography.  She has an amazing eye.  She is completly self taught, which blows me away.  She is also an expert with photoshop and showed me many great tricks.  I love getting together with her and talk photography and look through other photographer blogs.  I hope to work with her again, soon!  Check out her work at atlastimages.com 

Brady and Noelle got married at Breezy Point resort Up north, on July 18th, 2009.  It was a little cold for July, overcast days actually work out better for photos.  On the way back to the resort from the church we stopped to take pictures by the lake, but we were lucky enough to come across a field filled with what I thought was babies breath, small white flowers.  Those pictures are my favorite from the day!  Check them out and be sure to check out Emily's website!

Lee Ann and Kevin, Mankato Wedding

Lee Ann and Kevin got married on August 29th, 2009!  Lee Ann and I went to Concordia together for a year.  We were very fortunate to go to Italy together for close to three weeks with school. She attended my Senior Art show and got to see my work. That was more then 3 years ago.  So when she contacted me to photograph her wedding I was very excited to do it!  

The wedding and reception took place at the Mankato Golf Club.  They were so lucky to have such a beautiful day. Not too hot and not too cold!  All of their family and friends were such warm, welcoming people.  I had a blast capturing their day.  Lee Ann looked so beautiful and Kevin was just beaming with Happiness!  Thank you to Lee Ann and Kevin for letting me be apart of your special day.  Here are a few of my favorites!
